Grain & Stitch is a brand that specializes in handmade fashion made from repurposed materials. While we currently focus on fashion, our long term vision is to combine our passions as a husband and wife team into a food and fashion boutique brand.
How are the clothing items made?
Our clothes are made by repurposing materials and using creative alterations to transform them into stylish and eco-friendly fashion pieces. Every piece is made individually by hand by owner and designer, Tamara White.
Where can I buy Grain & Stitch Products?
You can purchase Grain & Stitch clothing, and accessories locally at Pamela’s Place in Indianola, IA. We also do many markets and pop ups throughout the year. Subscribe to our mailing list and follow us on social media to see where you can find us!
What if my item doesn’t fit?
Please check the measurements in the product listings carefully against your own measurements. In the case of an item not fitting, we can arrange alterations or a store credit in the form of a gift card or discount code. Because our items are one of kind and we are a one person design & production team, we don’t accept returns at this time. Thank you for understanding!
Do you do all kinds of alterations?
We offer alterations service for most clothing except bridal gowns. We love rescuing items through repairs or refitting to avoid them being discarded. We can even do repairs on shoe uppers, such as strap repair, restitching, or velcro/component replacement. Other items we typically accept include bags, textile decor items and lots more, just ask!
Will you buy my old materials?
Occasionally we buy materials such as vintage linens and fabric or trims. We may also accept gifted items you no longer need or use. Reach out through our contact form to inquire.
